DESCRIPTION:The Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade is an enduring American tradition that brings together the community in a vibrant display of color\, patriotic pride\, and a strong sense of unity. \nJuly 3\, Thursday\nCelebrations kick off on July 3 with a community picnic at Memorial Park from 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm. This event will feature non-profit booths\, kids activities\, food trucks\, confetti eggs\, a dunk tank\, Friends of Heasley Field Beer Garden\, and more. From 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm hear live music by Groovy Lemon Pie\, and enjoy a bubble wrap fireworks show at 8:00 pm. \n5 – 10:30 PM – FRIENDS OF HEASLEY FIELD BEER GARDEN\n6-9:30 PM LIVE MUSIC WITH GROOVY LEMON PIE\n8:00 PM BUBBLE WRAP FIREWORKS\nNON-PROFIT BOOTHS-KIDS ACTIVITIES 5-9 PM \nJuly 4\, Friday\nFor the main event\, Sierra Madre’s Independence Day Parade starts at 10:00 am on July 4. The parade route starts at Sunnyside Ave. and moves east on Sierra Madre Blvd.\, ending at Rancho Rd. Prior to the parade\, a 5K Fun Run will be held at the YMCA at 7:00 am. The YMCA will also be open for free swim from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. The Woman’s Club will host a pre-parade community open house with continental breakfast and live music by The Wabash Wailers at 8:00 am. \n10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE\n7:30 AM YMCA FIRECRACKER 5K FAMILY FUN RUN\n8:00 AM WOMAN’S CLUB PRE-PARADE OPEN HOUSE W/CONT BREAKFAST LIVE MUSIC BY THE WABASH WAILERS\, 550 WEST SIERRA MADRE BLVD.\n12:00-2:00 PM FREE FAMILY REC SWIM ETHE SIERRA MADRE POOLSPONSORED BY THE YMCA! \nJuly 5\, Saturday\nFollowing a lively day\, wind down with a movie in the park. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a showing of Barbie in Memorial Park at 7:45 pm on July 5. Ice Princess will be selling frozen treats.
