Sierra Madre’s Wistaria Festival is a beloved community celebration honoring the historic Sierra Madre Wistaria Vine, one of the largest flowering plants in the world. Each spring, visitors from near and far gather to experience this spectacular natural bloom along with a day full of small-town charm, local businesses, food, music, and family-friendly fun.

🌼 About the Historic Wistaria Vine

Planted in 1894, the Sierra Madre Wistaria Vine covers more than one acre and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Each year, its lavender blooms transform the neighborhood into a breathtaking display and inspire a community gathering unlike any other.

Location: Sierra Madre, California (Downtown & Baldwin Avenue/Sierra Madre Blvd. and Montecito Arts Shopping area)

🌸 Festival Admission: FREE and open to the public. Shuttle Tickets are needed to visit the Vine, located on Private Property.

🌿 Bloom timing is nature-dependent. Dates are selected based on historical peak bloom windows.

Sierra Madre is a walkable, charming town. Public Parking in Public Lots: Available throughout downtown

🚍 Using a Bus & Shuttle Arrivals

We warmly welcome tour and shuttle bus operators, as group travel offers a wonderful way for guests to experience this truly unique Wonder of the World. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone, we can accommodate only a limited number of buses at a time, and arrivals must be carefully scheduled and staggered.

Only buses with a pre-reserved time slot will be permitted to transport guests directly to the Wistaria Vine. Unscheduled bus arrivals cannot be accommodated.

🎟 Group Ticketing

Guests arriving by tour or shuttle bus receive a discounted admission rate of $12.50 per person. All group tickets must be arranged in advance through the tour bus operator.

🗓 Reservations & Logistics

Tour bus operators are required to:

• Secure a reserved arrival time
• Arrange advance payment
• Coordinate logistics prior to arrival
